looks like that pitiful excuse for an american political party has shown the people with a brain what most of us already knew...they have every voter their going to get already. they wont change even the most feeble minds with that crap they slung against they wall last night. WHO in their right mind would want to be a part of those morons????
god this country is in terrible shape if this is the only thing they can come up with to go against what should be an easily defeatable opponent...they bitch about about Nader??? he should have been their candidate... yes there are plenty of fools in the good old usa but never will there be enough to put these candyasses in power again.

I, for one, cannot understand your post. That usually goes for most Bush people on this forum.
Your headline reads and I will quote " Market up 123 pts after 1st day of ignocrats bullshit session"
Are you trying to tell me that the market going up is a BAD thing, or, are you trying to tell us that the market going up is a GOOD thing.
Please explain to us, what in the hell are you talking about with your headline about the market????

the market goes up as confidence in bush winning increases.....drops like a rock when tax raising, 100,000 contractor cutting, 10 million "new" government jobs promising kerry is being propped up by the media.....

Sonny aren't you familiar with the famous "Dow" poll numbers? Of course there is no possiblity that the market was oversold and due for a strong rally. Not to mention a strong earnings outlook from Verizon Communications (Verizon surged 1.36 to 37.86 after beating Wall Street expectations by 4 cents per share).
Of course today’s advance could evaporate in profit-taking if the next big batch of earnings reports on Wednesday and Thursday disappoint market watchers. Bottom line a one day surge means little as far a the Democratic convention is concerned.

So what does that say about the incumbent? Spin it any way you want, make groundless comments like zero, zip, nada all you want, your just flapping your keyboard in the wind. In the end it all means just what it sounds like - zero, zip, nada. Your hot air is another man's inspirational speech. Big deal sfeiner thinks the democrats suck.

"So what does that say about the incumbent?"

my point exactly...the incumbent is so beatable it isnt funny and yet the demos just like last time think people are stupid enough to believe the same lies they told in 1992....buddy i am no george bush fan, i think (unless kerry gets elected) he will go down as the 2nd worst pres in history and STILL the demos cant win... i would support most anybody against bush who was actually looking out for the good of this country....that certainly doesnt include the communist...no make that confirmed communist j. kerry who will turn this country over to the u.n within 6 months of being elected...i dont wipe shit off my shoe by sticking it an alligators mouth and thats what voting for j. kerry is....a huge mistake.

Same old groundless mis-information. Come up with something provable. To say Kerry or anyone else is going to turn the US over to the UN in 6 months is absolute bullshit and makes no sense.

The now famous Harvard Crimson quote made 10 months after returning home from Vietnam 34 years ago. In all honesty I felt the same way for a long time after returning from Viet Nam, if you have never been in a war than you will never understand. I won't get into where Bush was at the time.

Meaningless today.

In the context of the Vietnam War, those comments are completely understandable, there were thousands of Vets that felt similarily. Simply more Republican spin put on every sentence Kerry has ever uttered on any kind of record. The truth is back in February of 1970 the political climate was very much different for an obscure candidate for a Mass. congressional seat. Make what you want of it, the statement has noting to do with the real-politics of today.
